Julia Johnson
My name is Julia Johnson, and I am currently completing my master's degree in Art Education at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. During my time at UTK, I have developed a diverse body of work while building a local art business, selling original paintings, prints, and commissioned artwork throughout the region. My paintings are inspired by the places I've traveled, the memories I've collected, and the beauty of everyday life. I am passionate about creating work that tells a story and invites viewers to connect with it in their own way.I make original paintings on a variety of surfaces, including canvas, fabric, and repurposed thrifted materials. My work often celebrates Tennessee through quilt-inspired patterns, florals, and landscapes.
